In 1992, the artist appeared with the artist Chrysanne Stathacos in an installation at the Thread Waxing Space. The show was titled, “The Banquet,” and included the remnants of a performance extravaganza that included a nude male centerpiece and a performance, which could be viewed on tape. Reynolds was shown as his female alter ego Patina Du Prey in a ball gown designed by Ms. Stathacos, slowly revolving on a raised pedestal to the sound of operatic arias.
